Evidence-based, one-on-one occupational therapy for adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, and progressive neurological conditions.

I'm a licensed occupational therapist and Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist with more than fourteen years of experience working with adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, and progressive neurological conditions. My passion for occupational therapy stems from the belief that "health" is more than just the absence of illness — it's the ability to participate fully in the activities that give our lives meaning, from the grocery store to the hiking trail.
What makes my practice distinctive is the integration of advanced clinical neuroanatomy with a functional, performance-based lens. I don't just look at a diagnosis; I look at the neurological "why" behind every movement and cognitive task. By understanding the intricate relationship between the brain and human performance, I can provide interventions that are more precise, evidence-based, and effective.
I see clients in their homes throughout the Bay Area and via telehealth, and I work closely with the physicians, therapists, and family members who are part of each client's care team. Every plan I build is shaped around the activities that matter most to the person sitting across from me — and a clear, measurable path back to them.
Nine focused areas of practice, each grounded in current evidence and tailored to your goals.
Upper extremity retraining, fine motor skill rebuilding, and return-to-task therapy following ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke.
Cognitive rehabilitation, executive function support, and graded re-engagement with daily roles after TBI or concussion.
LSVT BIG–informed movement strategies, handwriting work, and home modification to maintain independence.
Energy conservation, fatigue management, and adaptive equipment training tailored to fluctuating symptoms.
Functional independence training, transfer techniques, and customized adaptive strategies for ADLs.
Custom seating evaluations for both manual and power wheelchairs, coordinating with vendors and DME providers to optimize fit, comfort, and function.
Memory, attention, and problem-solving strategies for clients with mild cognitive impairment or post-injury changes.
In-home assessments, fall prevention, bathroom and kitchen modifications, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
Hands-on training for family members and caregivers on safe transfers, cueing strategies, and home programs.
Predictable, transparent, and shaped around the goals that matter most to you.

A comprehensive 60–90 minute assessment of function, cognition, and home environment.
