I'm a licensed occupational therapist and Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist with more than fourteen years of experience working with adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, and progressive neurological conditions. My passion for occupational therapy stems from the belief that "health" is more than just the absence of illness — it's the ability to participate fully in the activities that give our lives meaning, from the grocery store to the hiking trail.

What makes my practice distinctive is the integration of advanced clinical neuroanatomy with a functional, performance-based lens. I don't just look at a diagnosis; I look at the neurological "why" behind every movement and cognitive task. By understanding the intricate relationship between the brain and human performance, I can provide interventions that are more precise, evidence-based, and effective.

I see clients in their homes throughout the Bay Area and via telehealth, and I work closely with the physicians, therapists, and family members who are part of each client's care team. Every plan I build is shaped around the activities that matter most to the person sitting across from me — and a clear, measurable path back to them.

FAQ

Common questions.

A few things clients and families often want to know before getting started.

Do you accept insurance?

No. I operate a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance companies directly.

What are your rates?

Rates are discussed during the free phone consultation so I can speak to your specific situation — including whether you're looking for an evaluation, ongoing sessions, in-home visits, or telehealth.

Do you offer in-home sessions?

Yes. I see clients in their homes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and offer telehealth as well. Home-based therapy is especially valuable for adult neuro clients because the skills we build generalize directly to the environment you actually live in.

Do I need a physician referral?

No. A physician referral is not required to begin working together. With your written consent, I'm always glad to coordinate with your physician or broader care team to support your plan of care.

How long does therapy typically last?

Length of care depends on diagnosis, goals, and progress — some clients work with me for several weeks, others several months.

Can you coordinate with my doctor or other therapists?

Yes. With your written consent, I communicate regularly with physicians, PTs, SLPs, and case managers to keep your care aligned.
